The spring of 2025 was the driest I have encountered in my 46 years of farming. I was planting corn 3” deep to find enough moisture for it to germinate. I called David and he drove the 120 mile trip daily for 5 days, then he told me he was finished with his demonstration and I should have rain by midnight the next day. He was only off by 1 hour as it started raining at 1am the next day. Once it started raining it just kept coming every few days well into the growing season. We are about to harvest our best corn and bean crop that this area has ever produced. There was no rain in the extended forecast when he started his procedure. I also watched closely as he did another demonstration about 140 miles west of me that he finished recently and just as he said, 1” of rain fell 5 days after he started. I am thinking he is either the luckiest man on the planet or maybe he just is on to something that we don’t quite understand.
